Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of gratitude journals. Basically, a gratitude journal is a written record of the things you’re thankful for in your life.
We first heard about gratitude journals at a personal development conference we attended in 2008 in Hawaii.
But isn’t keeping a gratitude journal kind of new-agey? What’s next, wearing strands of beads and chanting under the full moon?
OK, yes, keeping a journal is a little hokey, but we're asking you to get over yourself and do it anyway. We've kept a gratitude journal on and off for years, and it’s nice to reflect on what made us smile on a particular day. We remember that sweet thing we did, or the day it snowed on our wedding day.
When we focus on all the good things in our life, we're more likely to be satisfied with what we already have. Sorry, iPad, but we don’t really need you.Download Your Free Gratitude Journal Here
