I am often asked these questions: How can I accelerate the pace of my business? How can I grow my business faster? How can I upgrade my life?

It all goes back to very old rule. “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” Jim Rohn. A lot of gurus talk about this in the context of income. Take the average income of your 5 closest friends, if they make an average of $70K you probably do too.This principle is true for all aspects of your life. If you want to grow in health and fitness, you surround yourself with people who are conscience about their health and fitness.

If you want to grow spiritually, you surround yourself with those who are spiritually conscience about their lives. I call this playing up in life.

Now, I am not a fan of breaking up with everyone you know, Don and I have friends from all over the world. We measure our friendships on the value we bring to each other.

Just take a look and be conscience of the individuals you hang out and surround yourself with.

The second thing you want to do to accelerate the pace of your business is “play up.” Get to know people that can help you get to the next level.

How do you meet these people? The best way is to “play up” is increase your charisma and presence. Work on being very present! When engaging with others who are where you want to be, simply look for ways that you can add value to their lives whether it’s your boss, your colleagues, your prospects, or your customers.

Finally, attend company events. That’s the fastest path to cash that I know of, personally.
